Air Law

50 Euros

The Private Pilot License (PPL) Air Law exam typically covers the regulations and procedures that govern aviation activities in a particular country or region. 

Operational Procedures

50 Euros

The Private Pilot License (PPL) Operational Procedures exam typically covers the practical aspects of flying, including the procedures and techniques used during pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight operations.   

Meteorology

50 Euros

The Private Pilot License (PPL) Meteorology exam typically covers the principles of weather and meteorological phenomena that affect aviation.

Navigation

50 Euros

The Private Pilot License (PPL) Navigation exam typically covers the principles of navigation and the use of navigation instruments and aids.  

Human Performance & Limitations

50 Euros

The Private Pilot License (PPL) Human Performance and Limitations exam typically covers the principles of human physiology and psychology as they relate to aviation.  

Flight Performance & Planning

50 Euros

The Private Pilot License (PPL) Flight Performance and Planning exam typically covers the principles of aircraft performance and the calculations necessary for safe and efficient flight planning. 

Aircraft General Knowledge

50 Euros

The Private Pilot License (PPL) Aircraft General Knowledge exam typically covers the principles of aircraft systems and components, as well as their operation and maintenance.   

Principles of Flight

50 Euros

The Private Pilot License (PPL) Principles of Flight exam typically covers the fundamental principles of aerodynamics and their application to aircraft performance and handling.   

Radio Telephony (written)

50 Euros

The Private Pilot License (PPL) Radio Telephony (written) exam typically covers the principles of radio communication and procedures used in aviation.  

Ground School

750 Euros

The Private Pilot License (PPL) Ground School typically covers the theoretical knowledge required for safe and efficient flight operations. The above mentioned topics covered in the ground school

A PPL (Private Pilot License) study pack typically includes study materials and resources that cover the theoretical knowledge required for safe and efficient flight operations.   


Landing Fee

As part of the course you will land at other airfields.

250 Euros

The landing fees at other airfields will vary, but typically you can expect to pay in the region of £10-£15 per landing. There are likely to be about 7 landings during the course.

A CAA Class 2 Medical (required before going solo).
